Progress on an Android phone. Overall momentum is 61 and building across all 13 people. This week, 2 of 6 goals are met, with a ring under each friend. A bar for each of the last 8 weeks shows the goals met, and each circle is listed below with its own momentum. Progress on an Android phone. Overall momentum is 61 and building across all 13 people. How it works

Add your people once. Then keep up, gently.

It all works without an account and without a connection to the internet.

  1. Add your people

Pick friends from your phone’s contacts, or type a name. Nobody is invited and nobody is told.

  2. Group them in circles

Close and Extended come ready-made. Make circles of your own, such as Family or Work.

  3. Set a goal for each friend

Choose how you want to connect (a message, a call or a meet-up) and how often.

  4. Check in

When you have been in touch, check in. A goal met earns light progress, and a goal missed never resets it.

  5. Get ideas

The app suggests how to connect next, based on how you have actually kept in touch.

  6. Get a gentle nudge

One reminder a day at the most, at the time you choose, made on your phone. It can leave names out.

A friend on an iPhone. Maya Okafor in the Close circle, with a ring at 89. Her goal is a message every week, and an idea suggests a call on her birthday on Wednesday. Her birthday and a note, "Climbs on Thursdays. Ask how the new route went.", are listed above her timeline of check-ins, with a Check in button at the bottom. A friend on an iPhone. What it does not do
